Air Pros USA founder reacquires Florida operations after Chapter 11 breakup

What happened. Anthony Perera, who founded Air Pros USA in 2017 with one truck and one employee and stepped down as CEO in 2022, reacquired the company's legacy Florida operations through his investment firm Exuma Capital Partners. The purchase included the plumbing brand Drain Genie and generator/electrical contractor Personalized Power, covering markets including Tampa, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Miami, Boca Raton, Davie, Ocala and Orlando. The release states the prior board had initiated a Chapter 11 restructuring that broke the company into regional operations. Perera said he was 'coming back with a full commitment to maintain the high standards and performance' and planned to rebuild leadership and restore a customer-first culture. Terms were not disclosed.
