ARS/Rescue Rooter acquires Bradenton's Unique Air Services

What happened. ARS/Rescue Rooter, the Memphis-based national residential HVAC and plumbing network, acquired Unique Air Services, a Bradenton family-owned air conditioning contractor that had served the greater Sarasota market for more than 40 years. Owners Adam and Matthew Montgomery said they were joining because the two companies 'share the same philosophies of delivering exceptional customer service' and that they were 'excited about continuing to lead our team.' ARS president and COO Dave Slott said the company was 'honored and privileged to be partnering with Unique Air's talented management team.' CEO Don Karnes framed it as thickening an already dense Florida footprint that included ARS/Rescue Rooter of Tampa Bay, Orlando, Vero Beach, Fort Myers and Fort Walton Beach. Terms were not disclosed.
